Samsung 2253 - R2850 (From Postman)
Samsung 2232 - R2500 (Everywhere)
Asus VW222U - R2799 (Buycomputers)
Any other?

Will be used for gaming...

(Soz for all the posts about this, Im afraid I'll have product dissionance, however you spell it ;) )

2253GW. ;) :D

I prefer the "squareness" of the 2253GW. It is also less glossy.

2232 Is more widely available then the 2253 :D

With all the Manufacture Faults lately in SA I'd suggest get something you're not going to struggle to replace should the need be :p (yeah yeah, I know I'm a sceptic...)

What about the LG W2252S-PF , I see they are new on Rectrons price list... Cant find any reviews tho

AFAIK replacing them will always be a b*tch as they have to go back to Samsung, which takes 2 - 3 weeks. :(

Unless there are places who swap them out without having to go back to the manufacturer?

Most forumites will tell you to stay away from LG LCDs. I've had a 19" wide LG for two years and I've had no dead pixels or light leaks.

I'd say go for the LG if you don't want a glossy screen. You could save a bit of bob. :) But check which inputs it has, pricelist says "analogue" so maybe there's no DVI?

HP w2207h.
Best 22" around.
Features other 22" dont have:
-HDMI
-Built in speakers
-USB
-Unique stand design enables superior height and tilt adjustment, oh yes it can also rotote.

I use mine for PC(vga) & xbox360(hdmi), games look great with no lag, text is clear. Can switch between inputs without turning off.

How much? It doesn't help it's the best 22" around if you could get a 24" for the same price

Does the samsung 2232gw come with hdmi?

I know i have one but never thought about it :p

Also i'm sure when he bought it 24" monitors where like 5-6k still.

It was R3699 in May.
24" LCD's where R3899 but really ****ty ones without speakers, hdmi etc which i wanted for the 360. Also the resolution of a 24" would kill my PC when gaming.
