Makes you wonder why he even bothers playing. He shouldn't be selected, aside from his uninspiring form, he doesn't give a toss about the Boks.

Why now? Why wait till after the Durban conference? Seems our boi puke (aka Luke) isn’t just a ****ty rugby player, he’s also a spineless wimp and all round @$$hole, his father will be so proud….

Ha ha ha well let's hope he gets into huge sh_t for this! He is being investigated by SARU for his comments, so that could be the end of his playing days! GOOD! Will not miss him at all.

Saru has called an urgent meeting for Monday to determine the accuracy of the reports with Western Province, the player's contracting union, and the University of Cape Town Rugby Club, where the statements were said to have been made.

SA Rugby's manager of national teams and acting managing director, Andy Marinos said that if the reports were accurate, it was a very serious matter.

He said: "We can't pre-judge the matter on the strength of media reports and we can make no definitive statement until we have in our hands what evidence there may be.

Marinos said a further statement would be issued following the meeting with Western Province and UCT.

And for good measure he is also being investigated by Afriforum for hate speech. I think he needs to learn that hate speech can be directed at any group!

Afriforum meanwhile said it had sent a letter to both Watson and the chairperson of the Parliamentary Portfolio Committee on Sport, Butana Komphela.

The CEO of Afriforum, Kallie Kriel, said in the letter they demanded that Watson withdraw his statement that the problem with SA rugby was "that it is controlled by Dutchmen".

Afriforum said that if Watson refused to withdraw his statement, it intended having him summoned to the Equality Court on charges of hate speech.

Good on them, it’s becoming far too popular to make derogatory statement against whites in general, these “freedom fighters” should learn that weather they like it or not we are now all “free” and protected under the constitution.

Is there any games coming up where young Whatsin will be playing in, it would be nice to see what he looks like if he ends up in a loose ruck with everyone else using their boots to get to the "ball".
 
I think this needs to be put in perspective. He pulled on the Springbok jersey, looked at himself in the mirror and wanted to puke - I have the same reaction when I see him wearing the Springbok outfit :sick:
 
There was a guy in our high school rugby team who was also as unpopular as Luke Watson is now. If a ruck formed during a game he always received a couple of punches ... most often from his own teammates. :D
