Hey all

Would like to know if anyone has some suggestions on good spots in joburg for doing some walkabout photography in the evening...
New Town comes to mind first and would seem the most popular so anywhere particular there? otherwise any other suggestions would be cool.

Do you have any idea how strange the topic sounds from outside this thread? "Shooting around joburg".... :p
What about Hillbrow? I know it's dangerous but maybe from the closest safe suburbs?

I'm not sure I would want to walk around with my DSLR anywhere in Jo'burg at night.

I don't even do it in East London.

lol, I know it doesnt seem like the safest idea but i reckon if you stick to the 'safer' places like New Town and use your common sense i dont think there should be a problem....

It's probably safe in the evening. Lots of security guards around.
