... selling his car, heres the write up... He mentioned Gti and VW so many times, talk about bad advertising lol!!
Hehehe
So more about my car...(sorry a bit longreally a head turner and
have not had a day's trouble with her. Millage is 67400 now and next
service is at 75k. Extended the motorplan (100 000km/Nov 09) before the
60k service with a full maintenance plan as its piece of mind for the
10.5 k I had to pay. I have checked and it's transferable so no worries
there.
I'm also a member of the RSClub and a passionate hatch owner though I've
not taken her on the track ever as my girlfriend is with an insurance
broker and she's put her foot down on theseBut a great bunch of guys
there and would highly recommend the next owner to join the club. As you
guys share a lot of info on the v dub forum so do we. Great place for
sharing knowledge about our cars....Furthermore she's not been modded,
(RStuning) Paul, looks after all the rs club member's sports. Only thing
I had fitted recently is a performance filter from Paul, works a lot
better than the std paper filters from Renault and is better for the
car. Other than that she's quite unique as I have all the optional
extras fitted. Xenons not that common on the Meganes. Even the newer F1
and R26 only come with halogens and not xenons, pity cause I got so use
to them in my ex gti that don't think I'll ever drive a car that comes
without xenons. The pan roof also a nice feature and it's got the 6 disc
factory front loader as well.
In comparison to my gti I was really impressed. Small things like the
climate control, anti dazzle rear view mirror, folding mirror caps and
the quality of the leather and paintwork just a notch up from VW. Don't
get me wrong I'm still a GTI fan but Renault opened my eyes again about
quality issues I experienced with v dub. On the downside the quality of
the plastics not on par with the GTI and the sound system not great but
the cabin is a pleasant place to be and sound can be upgraded. With
regards to the afters ales issues everyone always hammer Renault for
there is a solution. The RSCLUB, we only support specific dealerships
and always get great service there so imo better than what I ever had
with VWSo my quick review for you....
Anyway, I need to sell due to financial reasons as I'd like to finish
off my house renovations. Would like an upgrade but need to get some
priorities straight...
I think for the price you're getting exceptional value and performance.
I have contacts for finance and also a dealership that can facilitate
the deal. I'm sure they'll help me with it as we just spend over 500k
with them on new company cars...
Hehehe
