JOYSTIQ has tracked down a bloke who by most people's standards plays a wee bit too much of the fantasy game World of Warcraft,
Known by the moniker 'Prepared', the bloke plays through 36 World of Warcraft accounts on 11 different computers at the same time.
It seems that the bloke got obsessed with the fact that every time he tried to organise a decent raid the other players let him down by not obeying orders correctly. His idea was to create a team that actually did what it was told.
To manage this level of control it costs him $5711 in subscription costs per year with 36 accounts on the six month payment schedule.
He said that he looks at WoW as a hobby and there are more expensive hobbies out there. Yep yachting, space tourism and organising coups in third world countries would be more expensive we guess.
When the upcoming WoW expansion, Wrath of the Lich King hits the shops he will buy 36 copies of it. Which will add about $1,500 to the cost of his 'hobby'. µ
