Please, Please may this be true:

Dissident Western Cape ANC members angered at the treatment of regional secretary Mbulelo Ncedana, plan to resign en masse on Sunday.

According to several members who plan to resign, the public declarations of resignation will be in sympathy with Ncedana and 10 other senior members who resigned from the party on Thursday.

The mass resignation was planned to take place at a midday rally at the Naluxolo Primary School in Samora, Phillipi on the Cape Flats.

Phillipi has one of the largest ANC memberships in the Dullah Omar region, covering the Cape Town metro, which claims more than 30 000 members. - Sapa

Yay!!!!!!

Please let it be enough for the ANC to convincingly lose their super majority! (66%) or maybe even their simply majority (50%)!!! I hope so!

Well, political analysts predict that the ANC could lose as much as 20% of their 66% majority.
 
The ANC is in for a big shocker ;)

But lets hope all the loyal supporters of freedom and human rights have seen the light :)

hmm seems to ask the question.. Is the most disadvantagious peace always preferable to the most just war? Does that still apply when its your own government you must live under? I just dunno.

Sure, civil war is the ultimate defence of democracy, but it's very very far down the list of Last Resorts. We don't have a problem with democracy here and our voting system still seems to work pretty much according to the rules, we just have a problem with people getting the party they want, but with that party not being too great. A civil war wouldn't help there because the Army AND the majority of the population is still on the side of the ANC. All you'd end up doing is losing the constitution and having it replaced by an even nastier government.

It would be nice to see the ANC lose their majority in parliament but the fun will stop there I'm afraid. The tripartite alliance will not accept defeat.

I would like nothing better than to see the ANC prove the Afro-pessimists wrong and accept a loss in an election with dignity but sadly they are currently controlled by pig-headed, blood-thirsty people:(.
