Mabuyakhulu in his response accused the Amajuba municipality of poor administration and abusing credits cards. His comments angered a group of IFP supporters, who began protesting. This triggered an altercation between supporters of the two parties which lasted for about 30 minutes. Police intervened when the crowd began wielding chairs.
Stand-off at KZN legislature

Seems "wielding of chairs" is all the rage at political gatherings
I'd label this as a case of stool abuse, but we might then have the gay community in an uproar. ;)

Luckily WoW haven't caught on to the latest craze in Africa :p

Hmmm..? I wonder if a chair could be considered a traditional weapon? In the "good old days" could we have been arrested for being at an illegal gathering weilding traditional weapons in a case like this?
