I think this is a good thing for our ICT industry as it signifies that all aspects and divisions of government and civil society are starting to see what an integral role ICT sectors and hopefully this will increase adoption of international trends such as politicians on Facebook.
At the end of the day, this can only be good news as more people with different needs and interests are being attracted to the net which will no doubt increase competition as demand questions supply.

Just a shame only a minority of our population can afford to voice "digitally Support their candidates" ...but big up, this is the future I suppose
