Before the storm, my mom had disconnect my PC's power and phone line physically, same goes for my dad's several work PC and phone line. There's a very close one while we were having dinner and we all heard some crack sound, though it might just be some spark somewhere.
Just now after the storm, my dad checked the telephone line, some of the phones lost dial tone and some are fine (several phones connected to the same line), and ADSL Modem doesn't want to power up any more. But it was disconnected physically!!! My PC was disconnected last and it's fine. But ADSL Router? It's connected to some other PC via network cable but those PC's power had been disconnected too. Some WIFI ADSL2+ VOIP Telkom Siemens Router less than 2 weeks old.
