This article is stating the obvious, you're divesting from an entity that has contributed substantially toward your net profit for years and returning the mojority of that value to shareholders and it's supposed to be earth-shattering that your revenue is going to come down?

Sounds like a sweet deal to me. Let go of <40% of revenue, you have LESS debt, AND increase your cash in the bank by more than ten fold.
All this excluding the special dividend given to shareholder. Me thinks the Telkom EXCO will get a nice thank you in the form of bonuses from the shareholders.
