Too much sex, violence on TV - Zuma

African National Congress president Jacob Zuma has spoken out about sex and violence in television programmes, saying there is too much of both.

"You sit with your kids and don't know what to do," he told members of the Mitchell's Plain community outside Cape Town, who had gathered at the Lentegeur Community Hall on Saturday morning to hear the ruling party leader speak.

Thats because he is a dumb-ass, thick brick - fatherly mentor this chap - awards and all, hand them out.

I feel like a stupid person when this guy says stuff.

What is he watching with his kids - has he seen the parental guidance on the screen - at least that gives some kind of indication, or doesnt he know what it means. No wait, he's watching porn and thats where he's struggling with what to do.

These kinds of statements are an excuse for the government to implement further state control over the media. And that state control isn't there just to protect kiddies from the dangers of images of nipples.
 
Mitchell's Plain community outside Cape Town <---- One of the most hotly contested places for next years election is the WC. Course he will say that to them :)

What scares me about this statement, is that to me it has a bit of a communist ring to it doesn't it? WE WILL CONTROL WHAT YOU WATCH!!! Considering Zuma's past with communist links...
