To twink or not to twink

What are your view around twinking? Many people have issues with twinks since they always get their butts handed to them in BG's with twinks.

Imo, twinking is quite fun. It's amaizing what you can do with a lvl29 character given the correct talents combined with best gear. Some of the twink options may be questionable - i.e. putting high level leg armour on low level gear a rather harsh requirement for new players.

Nobody complains about lvl70 twinks when the truth is that everyone twinks at this level (soon to be 80.) New lvl70 chars barely have a chance when they start pvping. It only get better over time when you are able to improve your gear.
 
I prefer pvp at max level. I dont like the smaller BG's. enjoy EoS and AV more. I twinked a lvl19 rogue, did a few wsg., found it boring. There wasnt any skill required, really. It was too easy. left it.

The problem with twinking is that if you arn't going to twink your character, battlegrounds become a painful experience, and people just skip them, while leveling. I have seen really good players in these bg who arnt twinked and do well. Thats skill.

Personally, i think the enchants should be further restricted, but it wont happen. Anyway, i got 3 lvl70's. Loads of pve to come and pvp at lvl 80 :)

By all means twink if you feel like it, expect a lot of complaining though. The opposite faction will hate you but your team mates will love you ;)
The only way to PVP is all out, give it 100% even if that means enchanting with high level stuff, using leg armour patches for level 60+ etc...
 
Twinks are the scum of WOW i have alot of WOW toons only few at 70 i never made a twink.If you cant pawn at 70 then make a twink jion the low life.

With my first WOW character i bged every 10 lvls because of twink i only lvled at the max lvl of that bg.
Even then with my few blues i got from instances didnt help at all twink screw up WOW low lvl PVP completely.

Twinks are one of the main reasons i play Warhammer were i can PVP at any lvl and love it even stand a chance.
 
Fortunately twinks will be gaining XP in bg's so kiss your twinks goodbye :>

i think i speak for everyone when we say "We Do Not Care, Why You Left WoW; So Please Stop Telling Us."

As for twinks i had a rogue twink got bored with it, didnt really see the point to it, now all my chars are almost 70. Playing a hunter and must say i find it to be the most enjoyable class.

I have:

Warrior(70)
Warlock(70)
Priest Holy (70)
Priest Shadow (70)
Druid Feral (70)
Mage (70)
Hunter (39)
Rogue (27)

Thought you only had a druid at lvl 70 :confused:
 
LOL @Boomrooker - I asked for opinions not childish crying just because you got owned by twinks.

Why would anyone want to do low level battle grounds with rubbish gear anyways? What are you trying to accomplish?

Don't you purchase pvp gear at level 70 to improve your character? How is that different to doing so at any other level? Yes, lower level brackets don't have much to choose from and thus have to work a little harder at it. Yet you don't need to have lvl70's running you through instances to get said gear. My brother and I went farming Ravelosh at lvl38 for gloves and shoulders. 1Rogue + 1Druid.

Not to mention that the vast majority of servers are pvp based (though I am on a pve server.) You will be far better off when keeping your character top geared. Don't quite understand how players who put a lot of time and effort into gearing their toons deserve to be called "scum or low life"

Don't like it? Then don't do it. Move on and do what you like chap...
 
That said, I will not twink a toon and imprison him/her in a single bracket. Since my rogue was my 3rd character, I figured that I would have some fun, take my time and enjoy it. We don't do all out twinking since this is rather costly. We go for what we deem feasible and afforable. Hit a week or so of pvp in the bracket then move on.
 
Its all about fun. If you have fun spending 5000 gold on a lvl 29 twink then so be it.

Agree with zanyboy, getting owned by a twink is exactly the same as getting owned by a s4 warrior. If you *** geared on any level you gonna get smoked. regardless.

Twinking messes up PVP completely for the wow noob guys that play the game for fist time and wants to pvp before max lvl.

For once I agree with Bommroker, twinks are for retards who can't handle pvp at 70. Twinks screw up bg's at lower levels. Where is the fun in one-shotting everything that comes your way?

Actually it is the retards that enter BG's 9 levels too early that complain about Twinks

If i'm lvl 19 with normal quest gear,and a lvl19 with 300 more hp and double my spellpower/attackpower walks in...that isn't too-low-to-play QQ. It's bloody hell he spent 5000gold to be doubly as powerful as his cohorts QQ
