Whats that baby capsule after sabc news?

It bugs me because i want to know what it is.

At the end of sabc news, they always show the newsroom - and in there is something that looks like a futuristic baby (its white) capsule/car seat/bed or something.

What is this thing man?
 
It's the seat that their reporters sit in when they have to travel - it's the law...
