Ricoh printers and lightening - red flashing inside connectors box...

Hi all!

2 printers connected to pc that had surge damage. Both Ricoh printers flashing red inside the cases near network and USB ports. Anybody with Ricoh experience able to tell me if this indicates comms damage?
 
We have 4 Ricoh printers here at our school. While we've never had this issue, if I remember what a technician and I were once speaking about, the lightning has probably damaged the network or com board in the printer. For some reason, Ricoh network interfaces are very "fragile", they don't like power cuts, dead cables and so on.

Your best bet would be to call the company who originally sold it. That kind of repair can be a few grand per printer.
