This game looks amazing!!! (Crysis i think is overrated, and to boot runs like butter on my system at max detail 1280x1024) ...
The game is just well made, characters etc ... the COD series is just amazing! they have not disappointed yet ... have not tried MP ... but this game gets my vote as game of the year ...
 
I found COD5 a letdown. I finished single player feeling empty :p

COD4's characters felt much more solid to me. The Russian sniper was the only person that really had a strong character. I'll try the multilayer sometime this week, but it definitely wasn't THAT impressive.

Graphics are (not surprisingly) on par with COD4, with the fire being the only real addition.

Far Cry 2 has done a much better job of keeping my attention so far.

no way dude!!! the graphics in COD5 are awesome!!!! i am playing it maxed on a PC ...
 
Like Pyro I'm a bit let down by the single player aspect of COD5. It actually felt shorter than COD4 for me. :confused:

But from a online multiplayer side this game rawks! Enjoying it way more than COD4 online.

They're exactly the same. COD5 uses the COD4 GFX engine. But yeah, it is quite good. :)
 
I played COD4 online MP for about 2 hours and decided it's crap compared to Crysis powerstruggle.

Do I even dare buying this and trying it out?? :(
 
Cod 5 is good am not sure if it's the best game of 2008..As for the multiplayer I think left 4 dead is way more fun.
 
Just found out that you can't play the multiplayer if you are on local cap as it needs to verify your account every time you log on. Fsking gay Treyarch :/
 
CoD 3 left a bitter taste in my mouth (glances at Treyarch). Played every CoD upto 4, but gonna give CoD 5 a miss - a bit tired of the WWII thing. Next year it's back to Infinity Ward! Yay! Can't wait for CoD6.
 
Thoroughly enjoying COD5 Definately has my vote as game of the year!!!! :thumbsup:
 
It rocks! really glad I bought it, was also skeptical.

To all those saying "oh noes not another ww2 game" try it. You will be pleasantly suprised, I was. Some really awesome missions unlike any of any other ww2 game. On the mission now where you are the gunner on some old bomber taking out ships whilst being attacked by zero's.
