After a website tease, a video leak and wild speculation, CD Projekt RED is pleased to announce The Witcher: Rise of the White Wolf, coming to PLAYSTATION 3 computer entertainment system and Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft in Fall 2009. Atari is publishing the game in most of the world, with CD Projekt publishing in Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia.

Can't wait!!!
 
Yeah, really looking forward to this. About time the consoles got some more mature RPG's.

Why would you want them to port it?? Its the same story that we got two years before the console players. According to developers all that really changes is the combat is more action based to cater for the console and they had to adjust the engine for the console specific requirements.

But the pc gamers won't be missing anything especially considering they keep subtle mentioning through hints that tw2 might already be in the works for pc.

Nope same game, just new engine, some new models and animations here and there and different combat system. Story is still same though. Glad this game is comming to the console, I even tried to play this game with gamepad emalating key/mouse input , so I could park fro of the TV on me couch, but it did not work out so good :P , it was bit hard to do the combat without mouse/key.
