Now what would have really been nice is a locally hosted version of MediaFire, or something similar....we can dream.

There was one local,can't remember the name.It was also discussed here waaayyy back,you might find something in a search.Last i used it,i remember the dude limited the diskspace to like 10mb due to abuse.

Announced on March 19th that operations will cease on March 31st. I like how they recommend pCloud amongst others, but pCloud has also been making Google-like changes to their terms and conditions.

It is more than people being retrenched, services too. All these online tools, sustainability doesn't come cheap, at some point mass onboarding needs to produce the $$$ or soon ¥¥¥ as some say.
