If a player leaves a club and returns with his new club. Do you feel fans have the right to boo the player?

Examples:

Berbatov - When he returns to play at White Hart lane

Figo - When he left Barca for Madrid - a fan smuggled a pigs head onto the field and threw it at him. Fans made his life a living hell on the pitch.

Do you think it is right? Fans pay their money at the door, so does that give them the to cheer and jeer?

Depends how the player acted when leaving.

In the case of figo and ronaldo when he left inter for real madrid its totally justified.

yeah...if it is a respected player, ie Barce playing Arsenal...I would be disgusted if Henry got booings from fans.

Ofcourse we're allowed to boo. I woulda thrown peanuts at gallas that year he moved to arsenal... that said - its only the twats that need booing, henry getting boos after being voted the best arsenal player of "x" (dont remember the title exactly) and then gettying boo'd is a bit much.
