A good year for Microsoft’s Xbox 360

It's because I (and host of others) had to buy my 2nd one after the first one died :/

I also had to buy a second one, but because my first one got stolen :p I have never had any problems with either of them.
 
The reason the Xbox is doing really well right now is because of the cool factor that Xbox has managed to create for itself. Just as the iPod has become the standard for mobile entertainment, the Xbox has become the standard for gaming. Everyone whose anyone has an Xbox and that popularity creates this perpetual halo (pardon the pun) effect.

Oh and for those whom have had problems with theirs - when I had a problem, Microsoft reps came to my house, picked up my old one and gave me a new one - no charge. Now that's customer service! Plus mine was over 2 years old.
