8600gt 256meg ddr2 SLI with 8600gt 512meg ddr3

Hi Guys

quick question

can one SLI the above mentioned cards

DDR2 and DDR3

I realize the 8600gt is not the greatest card but its what i have

let me know
 
I wish I could tell you with 100% certainty but I'm only 90% certain that it should be fine. NVidia has supported asymetric SLI for a while now.

how did you do it

is the one card ddr2 and the other ddr3

just making sure

i have been struggling for days to get it working
 
i didn't want to waste my time with it so i just send it to Computer Corporation to put the cards in.
 
u should ask a mod to move this to the Hardware and Software section,u would have a lot more luck there
