Looking to get a quote for fitting aircon into my dear 1.4i Velociti.

Where is there, apart from RadioAutosonic that does this in the Cape Town area?

And what is a fair price that I can expect to be quoted? I mean for a proper aircon, not something that blows air through a wet sponge...
 
Radio Autosonic have quoted me R7850 incl VAT for a proper aircon from VW...which is not too bad, I guess...But is there anyone else that can do the same?
 
Got another quote of R6000-R8000 today :(

Does anyone know if you get an adapter to plug into the 12V terminal in a golf which will allow you to put a normal 2 prong plug in there? I'm thinking 30cm desk fan in the meantime... :)
