What are you saying? You break the law by going on the side of the road? You going on the wrong side of the road? Well if you are an idiot for abusing the road and breaking the law then good on the people who block you.

what marine said - the yellow (emergency) lane is there for emergency vehicles, and how would you feel if you blocked an ambulance, and somebody died as a result?

I feel your pain, so folks are just inconsiderate. You'd find that your stuck in traffic in the middle lain and one to get onto the left lain so that you can take left off ramp ahead, and some idiots just block, despite you flashing your indicators for ages.
hahah... just give way, it takes nothing away from you...

I feel your pain, so folks are just inconsiderate. You'd find that your stuck in traffic in the middle lain and one to get onto the left lain so that you can take left off ramp ahead, and some idiots just block, despite you flashing your indicators for ages.
First I indicate, then I move after 10 seconds.
Otherwise I'll be stuck in the middle lane all day long.
And I try to plan ahead when to move into a specific lane.
It's especially those fools who gabble on their cellphones who usually do a course correction at the last minute and swerve across three lanes to get where they want to be.

Put your indicator on and if there is space i will give you space, but DONT EVER let me see you swerving in and out of lanes just get ahead faster. Cause i will not let you pass. I would rather scratch my car than give way to jerks!!!! Plan ahead like Librarian said if you know you have to turn somewhere ahead and there is a lot of traffic get into that lane from the start.

Agreed, those people who weave from one lane to the other just piss me off. Stupid.
Get in a lane and stay there. That's what I do.

If I determine someone is driving like an ass I will use every LEGAL and RESPONSIBLE method available to make certain he doesn't do something that is irresponsible or ass like behaviour. This includes many taxi services that drive right up ur ass. If they drive right there I will be certain to go exactly 60 instead of maybe 70/75 most of us go.. example Durban Road here in Durbanville...
If a taxi wants to get into a lane I will give him space, but if I noticed before a while back that he is going about lanes every two seconds and is going faster slower faster slower to try beat traffic then there is no chance I will let him in.

Heh, dangerous to admit you are a taxi driver on these forums.
Nonetheless, if you are a non-emergency vehicle using the emergency lane, I don't have to give you ANY gap. Then again, those of you that do use the emergency lane just push in, forcing the non-reckless drivers to make space to avoid an accident.

my policy is strictly not to give way to taxi's , buses, trucks and "sistah's" with an L on the side or rear windows.
Oh and I will curse all of you for giving way to those peeps.
Oh and of course asses that come screaming up from the rear, if you want to fly by, by all means change lanes go past and rejoin thelane further ahead.
But I will not be moved or bullied into joining a slower moving lane, just because you have no disregard for the speed limit and by that I assume you also don't pay the multitude of fines you accumulate.

ooh, ooh my other pet hate, taxi's , buses, trucks trying to go into the faster moving lane on an incline ....!!!!!

Thankfully the missus does not allow me to remove the firearm from the safe, otherwise - I swear I would've been locked up for murder a long time ago.

Don't worry traffic flow being as warped and dynamic as it is, I will have another opportunity to thwart or block your progress during the course of our travels.
And just one such successfull block and seeing how frustrated you get is enough to make my drive and effort worth while.
