it's just local www.skype.net at half the speed and twice the price ... I'm an optimist [;)]

Skype is expensive. I think local companies can easily undercut Skype. I also think that maybe Storm isn't really gearing towards PC-to-telephone calls, but perhaps using a VoIP gateway box to plug your telephone into the gateway into a regular ethernet switch?

Skype is so far the cheapest for calls from PC is SA to europe .. as far as I can see ... talking to UK for an hour for R9 ...
Although at peak times it still snaps, crackles and pops ...
