They're probably learning from Google who calls everything they write 'Beta', even if it is version 5, like GoogleEarth

The guys feel that it is indeed a testing phase and will rather explain (more detailed description on-line) why they call it Beta, i.e. they're still testing the solution.From the Vodacom site:
