A mate of mine in PE got a Cell C contract for R19/mo with a free phone and 100 free minutes... I think it was a Nokia but it looks like they practically give the lower range ones away cos no one buys them :)

I think it was a typo - either 1<b>2</b> or <b>2</b>4 but not 2. Look for the "E&OE" on the ad or their web site.

BTW, Nashua mobile has a longer-than-normal cancellation period on their contracts: I think it's 3 months notice.
