ok im itching ... Type R was keen on getting it, but seems my cuz is taking his sweet time to decide if he wants to sell the car now ... soooooo i notice a lot of GTi owners on here ... any of you guys selling ... cash buyer ... so make nice price :D ... and yes im talking Golf 5 GTi, musts are 18's and s/r
 
Got a Golf 4 GTi new spec 132kw 6 speed, but you looking for a 5 so...
 
Adam make sure you buy a BWA edition MK5! 18s S/r and xenons standard.

Most GTis baught new after April 2007 will have K04 turbos! Those are the ones that make real power!!:)
 
You're in Jhb... The civic will be disappointing away from the coast...

GTI's don't come with K04 turbos.

i thought just 18's and s/r ... will add xenons ... whats a BWA edition???? remember i aint a GTi man :) ...

noooo i dont want new on the VW, so no sirrico .... i want second hand, dont intend keeping the car long, want to sell it later and get my money back or even make a little ... there was an 06 GTi with 18s, s/r with 60000km for R165k ... nice car good condition, the guy could not get me a receipt or anything that he paid in cash for the car, so i walked away from the deal .... a natis these days aint proof ...he is a nice guy though, its just due diligence im practising from my side ... banks wont finance without this info ... pity

Theres alot of speculation around the world that BWA Gtis make more power 169kw instead of 147kw, VW has yet to confirm this but many drivers on www.vwclub.co.za are aware of the power changes. Try the site, im sure youll find more there than here.

the guy needed to sell the car like in a day or two ... no time for a police clearance ... but then also ... can have finance outstanding ... so needed to also do an HPI check ... so no time there also ...
