Sigma 70-300mm f/4-5.6 DG Macro

Yeah.. def get the APO.. much better lens for only about R1k extra...
 
Yeah, I know.. I also just asked them about that specific lens and they tell me they don't stock it....

Pity.. but sacamera do have it.. for R4500 roughly...

Forgive my innocence:p but who, what and where please. Since i got that Alpha350 last month I've been going click crazy...now I want more:D. (do they deliver to SA, had any issues with them if you've ordered before?...)

www.sacamera.co.za they based in Cape Town - have ordered from them before - no problems.

I dont have either of those lenses but the canon is probably better made.

Nope, still just got the stock 18-55, I'm looking to get a low zoom/telephoto to get me started.

Saying that, my Zenitar 16mm 2.8 fisheye arrives on monday! :D

Then I'll need a decent macro lens, and I'll be set for the next 2 years.

Get the cheaper APO sigma and the Canon EF f/1.8 50mm - you wont be disappointed.

Apologies for the ***ken late reply. Haven't created a Flickr page yet, will do so later today.

It's bloody brilliant, i love the LCD screen that can be flipped around, its super when taking low to the ground shots. it's also very user friendly, as a novice to SLR's it didn't take me long before i knew how to use it.

Will upload the pics!:)
