Telkom signal on a Vodacom SIM

I was catching up on some RSS feeds last night when my signal suddenly dropped out and was replaced by 65502 (Telkom). This lasted a short while and then also disappeared and I was left with no Vodacom signal at all. Things returned to normal about 5 min later.

Is Vodacom helping Telkom out with their 3G deployment perhaps?

No, probably a frequency overlap. Will see if I can find out but I think the Telkom bakkie was being naughty... ;)

Well if location helps this was at my place in CC.

My other thought was a roaming glitch of sorts.
