what is going on with these guys, are they the ones causing the financial crisis in the world?

Nah, just fraudsters.... :). Some greedy people saw a deal too good to be true and got conned by these guys.
 
i'm not sure about these two but most, if not all, of them kept their money in off-shore swiss bank accounts to avoid paying taxes.
 
Its because the US is run badly? I mean if you look at how these guys got away its because their reputation was 'good' and it was based on that, pretty much like the entire US.. how many companies aren't coming out now that their books were wrong too??
 
true and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad from Iran said that all this shows that capitalism does not work.

40%? I say, maybe 20%. Or less.
 
i think...to be a billionaire you must have taken some risks, and are probably a greedy person, maybe you consider yourself to be a master of the universe even...anyway, this personality type will take risks, and they have the confidence and believe int hemselves. that is how they got to where they are in life, by trampling on others. so when they spot a chance for some quick cash, they will take it.

sorry if this offended anybody here, in case there are a few billionaires in the crowd.

Malkovich (actor), Larry King (CNN), Spielberg, Zuckerman and Elie Wiesel.

Guess a good deal was just too good to be true, eh?
