Anyone not being able to connect to mxit using VM recently?

Try changing your login settings from socket half duplex (TCP) to HTTP. You can do that when you're about to log on.

There have been problems with the Mxit server recently. They are looking into it, but Vodacom and MTN are higher up on the priorities...

I have also experienced problems. When I used to log into MXit the screeen would first say "connecting" for about 2secs, then say "logging in" for just a second, and then I would be in and ready to go. Now when I log in, it says "connecting" for about 30secs, and then "opening" for about 20secs before i'm in, and then my connection is incredibly slow, it takes ages to send or download messages. And when I log out it also takes ages before it's done. It's so annoying that I've stopped using MXit altogether.

MXiT bot is down a lot latley. One of the chicks at works gets actually paid to surf MXiT all day ~ she has been moaning that she cannot get her work done due to the bot being down for most of the last week.

Its not local, they use overseas hosting - upsets Vodacom seriously with international bandwidth prices ... :D

Virgin Doesnt even connect with the new iPhone version of Mxit just cos of VM! Honestly why do we take there crap?

runs on local. They use a 41..... IP address which is a south african IP address.

According to ppl at MXit, virgin mobile has confirmed that it is a problem with them and not at MXit.
