Got Neotel yesterday, my experience as follows:

I applied for Neotel through PerDM marketing and got the phone within 2 days.
I called to open my ports as soon as I got the phone and began testing (as far as my limited expertise allow). Here are the results as follows (please feel free to provide any feedback necessary):

*All testing done on Prime uncapped, 3 bars signal in the Heuwelsig (Centurion) area

1. U-Torrent: downloaded at an avg of 30-50 KB/s
2. Http download : 7-8 KB/s (not sure why so slow:confused:)
3. Rapidshare through IDM : 80-110 KB/s (short bursts at 150 KB/s)
4. Browsing is painfully slow: Any reasons why?

Have you perhaps got a proxy server set in IE/FF/whatever internet browser you use? Alternatively, it might be an issue with your dns host, or the web server you're trying to access. The fact that downloads work fine leads me to believe the problem is not in the device or connection.
 
Could be (cause my cuz uses it for his intranet) i'll check. If so what would be the best solution (sorry not that clued up:o)
i.e. for DNS (could i use open dns) and for proxy
