Noticed that as well, also there is no reverse DNS entry, checked with UUNET (they provide WBS IP allocation) this won't be changing anytime soon. This makes hosting web & mail servers less effective. Also if you try ping an Iburst address from the states it gets blocked before it hits South African networks.

Our upstream provider reported a high latency issue Friday 1:22pm, due to a failure on an international circuit. This was resolved at 5:11pm. We apologise for the degraded service experienced by users during this time.

We apologise for the degraded service experienced by users during this time.Thanks Anakin, luckily local didn't seem to be too affected, so I was not all that concerned. I assumed it was probably out of WBS' control.
