After seeing this site I just again realized how badly we are getting ripped off here in SA.

Personal Broadband is what's next. It offers the speed of DSL and the convenience of wireless - all at the cost of dialup.

Personal Broadband is what Internet access should be. It's ...

Fast:--------> At 1 Mbps, it's faster than many wired broadband connections.
Wireless:----> Available when you need it, wherever you are.
Inexpensive:-> For the same price as dialup.
Simple:------> Just turn it on. It's the Internet access out of the box.
Familiar:-----> It's the Internet as you know it. Not a limited set of features
Nationwide:--> Works wherever you are -- at home, in the office, and on the go.

And they wonder why we are upset?

This is a bit confusing to me. In the states all local calls free, so the cost of dialing up to the internet over there is free, if you ignore the line rental etc.... Sorta doesn't sound right to me.

same with England, you get packages that local calls are free. when I was in England I used AOL as a dialup provider which cost me 14 quid a month and they gave me a 0800 number so I just stayed on 24/7.
