More for me cried the raven! Sickens me that these officials aren't willing to pay their own way, rather spending money that should go to less fortunate people. Public hospitals are in shambles but this "cadre" feels he should live like a king!

There don't care about their fellow "comrades" but only about their own self-enrichment. They are about as concerned for the poor Black population of this country as the NP government was.

Still want to vote for this party? I'm sure we could keep these stories coming all week!
 
This is how government officials were subsidised under the apartheid government. It is something we inherited. But we are in the process of changing that policy, which will see officials paying market-related rent for government-subsidised accommodation.

Hmmm, 15 years after the fact... :confused: How much of our constitution was inherited from the apartheid government, then? When will it be rewritten to reflect the present [-]fiasco[/-] situation?

Yup, its tantamount to admitting you're no better than the NP-led government. But there's always and never apologies - they continue to blame Apartheid, yet they awarded this house only a few months ago!

They've managed to fsck up so much in fifteen years yet haven't managed to change an allocation scheme; if they can't do that in three terms I wouldn't expect too much from the Department of Health for the next century.
