I do get the feeling this is a man that will spend his entire presidency in court... wifes/NPA/opposition parties/etc
Us folks who grew up in a Western way will not always understand traditional African values. Which values are deadly to South Africa I have grown tired of speculating on. I think it might be the tendency of traditional tribal "king is everything" mentality that is the downfall of many an African country and if we get that here we could be doomed. Well, at least the economy will be...
I think that it will be more than just the economy that goes down the tubes, as can be seen with the infrastructure (electric power, water, rivers polluted, hospitals in a sorry state, lack of law and order, ......... to name a few) and it will all be blamed on the colonial powers and apartheid.

Good point, the West go rid of most of their "kings" a long time ago. We are now part of the global village and international perception is paramount for any developing nation. This man may be going on about "traditional values"; but when those traditions he [picks-and-]chooses to follow damage this country then we have a problem.
Zuma doesnt have any values... he picks the ones that suit him. Tribal Values include witchcraft and sacrificing animals to other deitys to name ones that dont mix too well in Christian or Western values.
Zuma is not tribal, he dances to the tune of the Dollar and will do anything to make sure the song carrys on playing.
