THE AFRICAN NATIONAL CONGRESS YOUTH LEAGUE welcomes the decision of the National Director of Public Prosecutions and subsequently the Durban High Court to withdraw the charges against ANC President, and incoming President of the Republic of South Africa Jacob Zuma. From inception, the ANC YL has consistently said that the charges against President Zuma were used for political reasons. The NPA, particularly the Directorate of Special Operations (DSO) were used by a particular corrupt and devious faction to fight political battles.

The ANC YL is very happy that those who tried to destroy the ANC and President Jacob Zuma never succeeded because we were at the frontline defence of the ANC and the revolution. This sends out a very clear message that the ANC will never be destroyed as long as the ANC YL is there. Whoever intends to take chances with the ANC should know that the ANC YL is on guard.

Now that they have been exposed with their devious tactics, the ANC YL calls for the following sober and measured processes:

The ANC YL will further be at the forefront of teaching all young people in society about institutions and processes of democracy and how they should be strengthened towards the 20th anniversary of our democratic dispensation

As future leaders of South Africa, the ANC YL is very concerned by the manner in which opposition parties and some sections of the media have reacted to the dropping of charges. The responses of most opposition parties expose the reality that most opposition political parties have not yet come to terms with democratic principles and practice. We are particularly concerned by the actions of the racist Helen Zille, who is intending to pursue the charges against ANC President for the same reasons the case was dismissed for.

Most of the ANCYL supporters can't even write their own name and from the looks of it they have no clue what democracy is. And now they want to teach others about democracy.

Julius can't tell his ass from his elbow, I wouldn't listen to too much of his inane rantings.

What he fails to realise is all the NPA has decided is that they went about this whole thing wrong. It does not mean Zuma is innocent, but he couldn't be taken to court because due process was not followed. However, if done correctly there is no reason why he can't have his day in Pietermaritzburg.

For some reason he doesn't understand that where there is a smoking gun there is a murder. Taking a person to court is well within their democratic rights, should they have a case. Clearly Julius knows that Zuma is guilty as hell and knows if this ever does come to court then JZ will be locked away for a long, long time.

We can only dream that JZ does get locked up and maybe throw Malema in jail as well. Just don't ask Malema to build the beds :D

True... and I hope Julius does something stupid (more than likely) and sits with Zuma in jail... or maybe he has... like the rest... and protecting his jail ass too :D
 
Timgaul, you know as the rest of us, that the man in the township, believes that the decision to drop the charges, means that Zuma is innocent. Unless parties like the DA and COPE go on national tv and radio, daily stating the real facts, that he has not had his day in court, this will continue.
But then you knew all this already, more choir chatting
 
Personally I do not think that Zuma will ever have his day in court. The system will just be manipulated to prevent that happening.

Empty vessels make the most noise

Pride comes before the fall

Juts give them the rope, they will all hang themselves.

Oh, as an ANC cadre it is a national passtime. But Helen, unlike Julius is mature enough to not have to refute every comment made about her and take it to court. No, the DA has far more important things, like running an election campaign. JM is just a distraction, but the DA has kept their eye on the ball - much to his dismay, I'm sure.

Besides Helen's "inkwekewe" comment was far funnier than any "racist leader" comment that Malema could come up with.
