Hi,
Can anyone tell me what speed this 5 bay scsi controller unit supports.
It only picks up my Ultra320 scsi drives in the scsi utility only as 40 Sync speed.
My Adaptec 29160 controller card supports up to 160 speeds.
I tested my 80pin to 68pin converter on one of the drives and it picks it up at 160 which is correct.
So that means there is nothing wrong with the cable or the controller card.
So the problem could be either with the cable or the bay that supports 5 drives.
Does anyone have a unit like this or now much about it.
I think the bay might run at that speed, but i am unsure about it.
Please help if you can
