Hi Forum,

I recently ordered DSL from Webafrica and was surprised to get the line enabled in no time. After configuring the router everything seems fine: I get line sync and an address on the WAN side. However, every website is blocked with the exception of www.telkom.co.za. No outside address is pingable or accessible.
Any ideas??

Regards, Lars

WA Strikes again, why dont you phone the oke and help him through it. Comon give excellent service to your clients, should we really have to beg and post comments?

WA Phone Lars: Hi Lars, we see your have had your ADSL line installed.
Lars: Why yes WA
WA: Do you have a minute to verify your line (if you at home that is).
Lars: Why yes, thankyou WA

Lars makes many new cleints for WA by word of mouth.

But Nooooooooo WA choose to suck.

Got an axe to grind or what?

I am surprised that a phone call is not made once the line is converted, but not activated.
bebenl is capable of accessing this forum, and troubleshoot the problem. I know a heap of people who would benefit from a phone call.

Did bebenl simply jump the gun?

Most come and moan here instead of sorting the problem out via the phone.

So easy as well, pick up phone dial number sort it out.
