I wonder whats worse, Tehran or Guantanamo? I would imagine you know what you are guilty of if you are in Tehran.

The Iranian government claimed that she died from a stroke while being interrogated, but doctors examining Kazemi's body found evidence of rape, torture and a skull fracture. [6]

Prisoners held after the Islamic revolution include Marina Nemat, who spent two years in Evin from 1982, having participated in anti regime protests at her school. She has written about her torture and the death of her fellow students at the prison.[7]

ROFL a detention center open for less than a decade and holding only a few hundred detainees compares to a huge prison holding 15 000 prisoners who are torture, raped and have their skull smashed in

According to the United Nations, a child is a person under the age of 18. Despite the fact that the government of Iran has signed International Covenants that forbid them to execute anyone who has allegedly committed an offence before the age of 18, they continue to do so. Amnesty International has documented 26 executions of child offenders in Iran since 2005. In many cases, these minors have been imprisoned until the age of 18 and then executed. Currently, there are at least 134 minors on death row in Iran.

It is only through pressure on the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran, both internally in Iran and internationally that we can make a difference.

I'm against any country that holds prisoners without trial. We all know that China, Iran don't have much in the way of human rights but why must a country like the US stoop the same levels?
 
Guantanamo bay, how many of those people even got a trial?

This is a sad story but i have to question why anyone would go to Iran as a reporter fromt he US considering things are heavy between the 2 at the moment. People can say how bad the muslims treat people but go look at the horrific killings and murders in places like America, even in this country people die daily. Most people think it is fine if the government allows people to kill each other but should the government take a hardline they are deemed as bad.

Also, people should know better than to fsck around in these heavy Islamic countires. You want to "expose" the truth? You want to mess around and take a chance with those fsckers...? Well... don't say you weren't warned...

Must say though... Those Islamic types are equal opportunity offenders. They will fsck you up three ways from Sunday whether you are a political prisoner, a "drug dealer" (read idiot that takes money from Nigerians to travel) or something more common.
