2 b honest, I hadn't even thought of that as a possibility, sure hope it isn't the case bcos we aren't voting politicians in & out of office

I am sure that day will come when the world is fully broadlybanded & netizined, if it happens in my time, I will be standing on a net soapbox lobbying for daily votes of no confidence for individual politicians- after an insufficient improvement assesment period they get figuratively axed, and their replacement is voted in.

PS: Any MyADSL member can & should vote- even if you have never posted anything (i.e. the "[post=154103]lurkers[/post]").
This vote is also an ideal opportunity to accurately find out how many people regularly visit MyADSL.
If you have never registered, now is a good time it is free & there are no obligations placed on you, personally I would want you to vote just after registering, but that's just my opinion.
If you are on dial-up & don't think you can contribute to broadband, think again, there are regular MyADSL members that are still on dial-up 56K & ISDN.

What would you like to have Surveyed via Polling Thread
In the spirit of RPM's initial request:
Me, myself & my other multiple personalitites have a few things we would like to have surveyed, e.g. separate ongoing polls [one per broadband offering] to determine the number of MyADSL members using each type of broadband connection - HomeDSL384; ADSL512 shaped; ADSL512 unshaped; iBurst; ... Each of those surveys would have to be separate to allow for people that switch from one to the other, and obviously would require a bit more thought put in to cover all bases. There might need to be 2 each to allow for work & home usage profiles.
Enough about what I want, what do you want?
PS: Apologies for derailing this thread, I just think it's the easiest way to get the ball rolling - people can vote at the top of this page & then have their say as well.

come on if we cant post polls then how can we prove certain points, like how all my threads are useless(check my one that was killed, died actually). MyADSL is a great forum but on the downside, we cant post our own polls! MyADSL would widen the lead on other major chat rooms if MyADSL opened this section up.
