and that's exactly how I feel.
ANC: I cannot with a clear consience vote for the
ANC & end up with Zuma as president and know I played a part
in him becoming president. Not to mention Blade as a minister, some of the noises he makes are real worrying.

COPE: They have proved to be nothing but
just a bunch of disgruntled mbekites wanting
another turn at the gravy train.

DA: Not sure they have my best interests at heart/manifesto,
their need to please some of their core constituency seem to be
in conflict with the realities of this country. I know they have said there is a need
to retain AA/BEE, but it appears their voters would rather these are completely scrapped.

The other parties are not even worth mentioning. I would rather not have to vote. Maybe I will have to join the unprincipled no-2/3 majority. *sigh*
 
It so pathetically sad. Poor Zapiro like all the other old ANC fanboys can't bring themselves to vote against them so they dig up excuses to cop out. Zapiro is a moron. No doubt was a great fan of mad Bob's Zanu PF as well.

Agreed. Although he is very critical of the ANC at this moment of time, it is pathetic that he doesn't want to vote for the DA. He doesn't even provide a "reason" for not voting DA. Probably because he suffers from "white guilt" syndrome that suffocate many liberal members of society. :sick:

you realise that the ANC is committed to mediocrity & tolerant of incompetence as long
as such mediocrity & incompetence comes from their own deployed incompetent cadres.

Zapiro had no problems with the ANC when they committed these crimes under Madiba. He's a class A hypocrite

If you spoil your vote, you take away from the dreaded 2/3rds. You're a part of the voting mass even though you vote for nobody.
 
They don't count your vote if you spoil it so it's exactly like not voting.
 
Ok, maybe I misunderstood. I thought a spoiled vote went into a "spoiled category" and counted as a percentage.
 
I cannot for the life of me figure out why so many people in this country (especially white people sad to say), say they have nobody to vote for. If you are not going to vote ANC, then just pick any darn party... it is not like they are gonna win based on your vote. But at least you will be forcing the ANC to work hand in hand with and co-operate with the other opposition parties... which is a good thing.
 
Zapiro is the typical example of people back in the day who were pro-anc only to find out later what the anc truly was, given power.

Suffice to say they are all dumbasses since they should've known better than to trust an organisation like the ANC. :sick:

I have no clue who to vote for either.

BUT

In politics I believe that balance brings out the best. You need the extremes to end up somewhere in the middle. Currently I reckon the ANC has way too much power. They are allowed to screw up completely and as long as they install a few taps the voters keep on giving them a mandate.

So who else?

The DA-? They only seem to moan and never press their own agenda(whatever that is) hard enough. I mean "STOP zuma" on an election poster? How pathetic that they couldnt say stop corruption or anything addressing the real issues instead.

COPE? Unproven. Given their origins, it seems wishful thinking to expect that their floor-level bureaucrats will be anything but chancers wanting another chomp at the bit. Or they could genuinely not stand the unprincipled ANC anymore. Here's hoping

IFP, UDM, PAC: Who?

Given my policy of seeking balance I'll probably end up flipping a coin. No party really seems to embody what I'm looking for as a voter and in that case the best I can hope for is a vibrant opposition which would lead to issues actually being debated and hopefully the best decision for all concerned being taken as opposed to the current dancing to the tunes of their masters the ANC councillors are doing.
