Hi was wondering who has the cheapest 4mb DSl Line Rental..

i found Axxess.co.za,

Line Speed Up to 384Kbs Up to 512Kbs Up to 4Mbs
Prices (p/m) R139.00 R289.00 R359.00

Telkom

Line Speed Up to 384Kbs Up to 512Kbs Up to 4Mbs
Prices (p/m) R159.00 R326.00 R413.00

is there any other cheap line rental ISP's..


is the 4mb line speeds exactly the same between Telkom and Axxess (upload and download).

I'm also looking at the same thing. My line is installed, but the previous tenant had it deactivated before leaving, so I just need to phone Telkom to get it going again. Piggy-backing wirelessly off my neighbors in the meantime.

So when I activate, do I then pay for phoneline, + ADSL rental + ISP? How do I then move the ADSL rental to Axxess (going for a 626 account)?
 
Hmm... Looking at my previous month's Telkom bill:

4MB line rental - R362.28
Line rental -R108.95
3GB Advanced - R209.65
Total: R680.88

Then there's an R85.96 discount on the "Do Broadband 3" package... Which reduces the total to R594.92 per month basic rental.

Edit: That's still excluding VAT, though. Including would be R678.21 - assuming I can still do maths :p

I'ts been a while since anyone updated this. I have had a look at the ones mentioned above and the cheapest I could find for a 4 mb line was Isat for R371. I'm thinking of getting this together with MyISP uncapped for R459 which comes to a total of R830 pm. Does anyone know of a better 4mb uncapped combination?
