DA gains are ahead of ANC & others

The DA is the only party who has already gained more seats in Parliament... after only 12-million votes so far... or likely 2/3rds

Seats held
..........2004......2009
ANC......272........203+.....(50 more?)
DA.........48.........49:)+..(20 more?)
COPE..................23+.....(10 more?)
IFP........27..........11+......(5 more?)
UDM........9...........3+
ID...........7...........3+
ACDP.......6...........2+
.....................................(98 seats left - for above)

ANC will lose a couple of seats...
DA gains while COPE achieves some
but sadly the others loss more
 
COPE stole quite a lot of support here... and if the ANC doesn't make that 67%, COPE will have saved the day.... and the next four years....
Let's just hope that everything goes smoothly....

if the ANC alone does not get the requird 2/3 majority, what stops them from joining with a smaller party to reach the required 2/3?
 
if a smaller party had to join them then that smaller party would just be stupid as the ANC would rule over them and they would become the ANC's new b***h

But the ANC will just dangle jobs for pals and bee deals before a few greedy fools and they will jump ship :sick:
