To buy a used bike?

I haven't had the time to take a trip down Voortrekker - I know that it's basically comprised of second-hand dealerships. Though I've been told that Botha's Motorfietse is located there. Anyone know of anything else?

My two basic criteria are:

1. The bikes sold are used.
2. The place offers payments in monthly installments.

I've taken a look at Bikes for sale but I'm skeptical about the site - it looks dodgy, and their finance link doesn't work. They give their banking details so I'm guessing you pay through them, yet it gives you the contact details of each person that posted their bike. :confused::confused:

a Friend of mine is co-owner of House of bikes. The Shop owner is Josè and the Importer, my mate (Fano). They sell imported and local second hand bikes and some new ones.

Worth a look, they near Colonade

@PetrolHead: Well in terms of brands, I'm looking into either Suzuki or Honda. Looking at anything between 200 to 400cc, as I'd need a bit of power on the Highway.

My budget would be topping out at around R20 000. Yes, I do know that that is pushing it for bikes of that standard, but they will be used, and I've seen some good deals around. (I understand that I'll be paying slightly more via a dealer).

Just to put things into light, it would be stupid to assume one can get a 4 year old bike for that price, but I'm sure that the first slingshots will be in that price range.
