My day with neotel so far...

You're not providing much information. If you want the Neotel rep to do anything about it (if he's still around), you need to give some specifics e.g. location, package, RSSI, signal quality.

Just saying your pings suck and attaching a screenshot is interesting, but ultimately useless from a support point of view.

Good luck.

Don't kid yourself... he hasn't been around for a while. I don't expect this issue to be resolved on my end anyhow as I have an RSSI of 62, and great speeds after 7pm. This is a backend issue. Once we hit the magic number 7(pm), all is well in the land of broadband for some reason.

The only support that can help is getting their back-end working or putting up more towers.

RSSI: 62
Package: Prime
Bellville

And so the trend continues. Have any reps on MyBB actually managed to last more than a couple of months? Are we that difficult to deal with?

As far as your connectivity problem goes, I agree that it's a network problem. Your RSSI is excellent (mines 83 and I get over 100kB/s download). All you have to do now is find other customers in your area that have the same problem. You might see some action from Neotel then, but it's unlikely. The Neotel rep was pretty much the only person in that company who did anything useful. Without him, you might as well cancel.

Hey LabAnimal,

depends on what product you're using.

To check this type *#2368*#07# on your Neotel phone

Neoflex:
Install the Axess Manager that came with the device , connect using the ethernet cable. It will probably give you an error when trying to run the app "Insert Valid RUIM". Just keep trying to run the app , eventually it open and you're able to see the signal as well as (dbm) per antenna on the unit.

so far

Hi all,

I am here - and havent deserted the forum.

I just don't have anything concrete to add to what has already been stated.

@ shogun: I have not received any PM's from you with the usual details I ask for - please supply Name, Contact details, Neotel service number and your trouble ticket reference number.
