The 90 delegates to the National Council of Provinces were sworn in by Chief Justice Pius Langa on Thursday afternoon.

Western Cape Premier Helen Zille was booed as she lambasted members for chanting "ANC" when Mahlangu was elected.

"We stood and applauded when you were elected. But we feel that it was completely wrong for members of the ruling party to chant for the ANC when you were elected.

"It shows that many members of this house have a lot to learn about the separation of party from the state."

The ANC are a bunch of playground children. Gone is the honourable ANC of Sisulu, Luthuli and Mandela; it has been replaced with a bunch of self-righteous spoilt brats.
 
So it's OK for a DA councilor to call the ANC chief whip a boytjie, but they mustn't boo at Tim's middle-aged fantasy figure?
 
yeah timgaul the anc has "changed". Not like they used to sing "kill the white man", bomb civilians or kidnap kids for their camps in the good old days

Why do you twist his words for your own agenda. He said Luthuli, mandela and Sisulu were great leaders. And ill add Tambo to that list

Because the council of provinces isn't the ANC - that's the point she was trying to make. This shouldn't be about a party but rather about the governing of the people.

"Boytjie" keeps me in mind of "gardenboys" and "girly" brings up memories of "racist little girl", dontchathink?

Look this just shows what we all already know. The ANC and everybody that supports them are mentally challenged children with no respect for other people and delusions of grandeur. They don't know what democracy or freedom means and loaf off and ride the gravy train while the other 35% work to make the country a success despite their best efforts to send it tumbling into chaos where people dance like monkeys, burn tires and shoot at each other when they disagree.

They can win "slag van bloed revier" we just need to park our trailers in a D shape with two canons :D and I think even the Xhosas, Indians, Muslims, Chinese, what ells do we have, any ways, would Help it’s not a race but culture thing cause in my mind ZULU culture seems :sick: seeing that the zuma portrays such a positive with top op the chart beats like machine gun song of the zulu people, so too the rest of S.A whatever happened to growth and my Human rights flew out the window with BEE (its racist). I'm doing my bid in buying Sarrie and Griekie from the museum and I’m going to Park and point it at Zuma and Mugabe dancing to imbshiniwa trance.

That's one smart coekie, that lady. Once the rest of the country start seeing how a province SHOULD be run, they are all going to want the same. Then the ANC aint gonna be smelling so good no more and perhaps some of those minless followers will finally wake up to reality and stop supporting those corrupt and thieving bunch of ANC thugs.
