Jeremey Mansfield - Cancer?

Leukaemia ?

What do you mean not life threatning, afaik that is the most dangerous cancer. I might be wrong though.

I am only quoting Mansfield in the article. Not my personal opinion. I also thought "Oh ****" when I saw it.

"This is not life threatening, but needs to be dealt with, and that is why my doctors and I have chosen to take an aggressive approach to the disease," Mansfield was quoted in the statement as saying.

I like his view on it, but AFAIK like Marine said = Dead man walking

Very very sad :( I like him, he's a great guy, very social and outgoing.

I think with cancer it also depends on when you catch it, if you watch it early you have a good chance.

While generally considered incurable, CLL progresses slowly in most cases. Many people with CLL lead normal and active lives for many years - in some cases for decades. Because of its slow onset, early-stage CLL is generally not treated since it is believed that early CLL intervention does not improve survival time or quality of life. Instead, the condition is monitored over time to detect any change in the disease pattern.

Is there a difference between what Jeremy has and Blood cancer ?

I'm not sure. But I just read that in 2007 in the USA 15000 people were diagnosed and the death toll was 4500. That is bit worse than the articles make you believe. Although it was not clear on whether the 4500 deaths was from the 15000 diagnosed or earlier diagnosed patients.

If 4500 was from the 15 000 diagnosed that is pretty damn high for one year

Anyway, I honestly hope it's not life threatening. I know very little about cancers so there could be different types of Leukaemia and he has one of the weaker ones. I'm not a Doctor so I have no idea :o

I also thought that it was pretty high.

Cancer is still cancer IMO.
My mother was diagnosed with skin cancer a few years back and although it is not life threatening at all it was still a massive shock for us all.

At least he is positive about it and that is the type of person he is. I can't imagine 94.7 without Mansfield.

With Keino Kammies gone it is better now. At least D Scott is something to listen too and he doesn't try to be funny.
Mansfield is a natural.

Not me personally, because if he did try I'd beat the **** out of him

Mansfield is one of those who thinks the sun shines out of his ass, and can walk around like he owns the place. He likes to cause brawls too even when he is wrong, which is often. Ask the owner of Al's Gourmet Chicken!

makes me think that you are close to the Gourmet chicken incident - is ludicrous in any case (http://www.news24.com/News24/Entertainment/Local/0,9294,2-1225-1242_1414371,00.html) and considering the charity work Mansfield has done, it's a pretty low blow from your side. Don't you also think that referring to an incident occurred in 1999 and brought to court in 2003 has much relevance (i.e. almost 10 years later)?

I hope that your plate is clean ---- otherwise watch out what's coming for you ;)

Who won ?

/off topic

I saw Jeremy the first time many years ago, posing naked in the Losslyf. It was an article about something he took a stand against. Jeremy in full flesh :D
