Blizzard is putting the smack down on WarCraft III cheaters yet again. They've closed down 12,000 Battle.net accounts. Half the CD keys from those accounts will be banned from ladder play for six months, and 1000 more will be permanently banned from ladder play.
The really fascinating thing here is that, since Blizzard can afford to ban 12,000 cheaters on a whim (and cheating is not as commonplace as some might assume), there must be like half a billion souls using Battle.net at the moment.
