Hi everybody

I'm looking for some advice to setup a wifi at my place. My internet connection is Emburst via Ethernet and I'm wondering if there is a solution that might help me transform my internet home to wifi.

Since its not ADSL, I'm wondering if a wifi router exist for Ethernet connection ? Or if I can setup a home network using my laptop as a home server:

- Connect to the internet with the ethernet cable
- Use my integrated wireless card on the laptop to let my other device connect to it

Any help ?

Buy:
1. Ethernet Network Card.
2. WiFi Router

One computer connects to the internet using your Emburst thing.
Then, you install another network card into that machine.
You plug that other network card into a Wi-Fi router.
You then use windows connection sharing to share the Emburst connection on that one computer.
All the other computers now connect to the One computer via Wi-Fi.

This does mean that the One computer must be on all the time.

I have done some reading and alot of testing... Without additional hardware I am now able to use my laptop as a server (by setting an wireless ad-hoc connection and then share the wired connection).

From a 1:1 perspective its working great, but I guess if I want to connect more device (my phone for example) I will have to consider that router...

Thanks alot guys !
Appreciated it !

PS: Nerfherder, Emburst is a wireless connection but fixed (they set-up an antenna on your roof).
