Government committed to consumer protection

ahahahaha... like the ANC has protected telecomms consumers over the last ten years for getting raped by Telkom? Ja... sure. Are we supposed to believe this?

Radebe said the Competition Commission was "doing a sterling job" when it came to combating price fixing.

My dog is at the moment doing a better job at creating the perfect cup of coffee than those w*nkers are at combating price fixing. Pull the other one!
Oh wait, that one's already been ripped off by the ANC.

someone please define "sterling job" for me pleeeeeeeeezzzeeeeee, our car prices are so much higher then countries our factories export to. Look at food prices... omg, do I need to say more about that? Then there is electricity (gr8, no competition so....) then there is telkom and neotel, wow, no price fixing? holy s**t but do their prices look similar. and our banks :mad::mad::mad:

Hello, what a sterling job they are doing.

If they are that good, how come we have to wait a whole year and a half for the Consumer Protection Act to come into force? It's law already, but we are waiting for the enforcement to get going.

Has the bread price come down? ... No.
Has the big banks reduced their extortionist schemes? ... No
Has the new car prices halved yet? ... No

Where's this "sterling job" and why is he hiding in the closet?

somebody said a "sterling job" and the corrupt ones amongst us thought it was money sent to us from the UK so they started printing false invoices.

and just like public submissions mean stuff all so does a consumer hotline.
